Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and subscribe, the app may pay me a commission for sending you. You pay the same price you would have paid by typing the address in yourself: there is no surcharge, no special code and nothing added to your bill. That commission is what buys the subscriptions I test with, which is the honest reason it exists.
Which links
The buttons that take you to an app, and the app names in reviews and ranking tables, are usually affiliate links. They carry rel="sponsored" so search engines can tell them apart from ordinary editorial links.
What it never changes
It never changes a rating. The stars come out of the two-week method on the How we test page, and an app I have a partnership with gets the same memory check, the same hard day and the same boundary test as every other one, with its weaknesses written down just as plainly. No app has ever been shown a review before publication, and no commission has ever bought a word of one.
Where you will see it said
On every page that carries affiliate links, above the first one, in the small notice near the top.
